Where does the Netanyuhu claim of defenseable borders go?

To me it seems quite absurd, that what ever happens in any future Israeli peace plan there is zero hope that Israel will ever ever have secure borders.

So why Is Netanyuhu sob crying that the 1967 borders of Israeli are indefinable? The 1948 Israeli borders are indefensible, the 1967 borders are indefeasible, even the present defacto Israeli control borders of Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan heights, leads to the conclusion Israel will never have secure Borders.

Maybe massive countries like the Soviet Union can claim any invader must fight a giant war of attrition, but Israel as a postage stamp country can never make such a Bozo Netanyuhu claim that their 1967 borders are any justification for anything.

You don't get it. He's a real supporter of the Palestinian cause and posts on this subject to present their case.

For Israel... while they say no for exact 67 borders I do not see them presenting the alternative. What exchange would they have? None? I did not see them making a demand other than no, and that perplexes me.

What a stupid response by JedIY, rather than answer a single question or muster a response, JediY calls me a troll.

In any vain glorious hope that it will make the question millions of others are asking go away.

The problem is politics as usual on the part of both peoples. Forces in Israel are pushing for expansion, groups within the Palestinians are calling for extinction.

Kind of hard to find much middle ground.

What the Israelis are being asked to do is absurd and will never happen. Maybe that's why it is being asked of them? What new demand will follow?

And the sad thing is, even if the Palestinians got all the statehood and international recognition they could stand, they'd be at war with Israel within a year. Israel would roll over them again, this time completely legally under UN approved international law, and the UN would still probably bitch and slap it's chest in frustration (it can only pound its chest if American forces are involved).

the 1967 territories were taken from Egypt, Syria, and Jordan... have any of the 3 countries pressed a claim that they'd like their land back?

Given that every border that Israel has had; has allowed the opponent to push into the heart of Israel; Israel desires a buffer zone to protect itself from opponents that still are at war with here. So began the expansion of the West Bank - which was ceded to it by Jordan after '67. It was not given to the Palestinians

Now some may claim that the Palestinians are not at war with Israel - those people refuse to Hamas for what it is.

Fatah are merging with Hamas - they are accepting them into the package. Given that Hamas still wants to destroy Israel; Israel should be leery of this new Palestinian union.

Syria would like the Golan - but has stayed at state of declared war.

Jordan does not want anything to do with the Palestinians or the West Bank

Egypt even though they got the Sinai back; goes not want Gaza - nor have they ever allowed open travel between Gaza and Egypt.

The original mandate for Palestine which included Judea and Samaria was pretty defenseable. Separated jordan/arabia from israel by dead sea, salt pools, GH and a linear river was chosen for a reason. Not this ridiculous squirrely 1000s of miles border.

They both want to destroy israel one just prefers slow jihad and redefining conflict for western consumption. e.g. instead of big bad arab states all ganging up on israel, to one of poor Palestinians being oppressed by Israel.

It's worked see that fool LL.

You can call me a fool all you want to, but if you were a Palestinian you would just want a fairer deal.

Its just an Israeli self serving myth that Palestinians are only dedicated to to the destruction of Israel.

But after all, Zebo is the real fool who buys the Israeli line, hook line and sinker.

But the real Zebo bullshit is in saying, " to one of poor Palestinians being oppressed by Israel." As Zebo falls 2,999, 999 plus totally oppressed Palestinians short.

To that latter fact does the rest of the world pay attention too, in the run up to 9/2011.
As it becomes glaringly apparent that even Obama political pandering to Israel will not be enough to save Israeli Netanyuhu butt in the UN.

Then Israel should integrate those lands and give the Palestinians full Israeli citizenship.

LOLZ you're a fool too. Jews (and all other religious minorities) are treated worse than dirt in Muslims lands, which Israel would become.

Read:The Dhimmi: Jews and Christians Under Islam by Bat Yeor

or just look at what goes on every day in Egypt. Forced conversions of young Copt girls, bombings of churches (synagogues were already wiped out), killings of copts.

Basically you're asking them to commit suicide.

Or they can separate themselves from the Palestinians and have two states.
One state or two is their call, but they can't have it both ways.
As far as Muslim states being worse, I don't disagree, but that doesn't excuse Israel's position.

All I know is the so called "Israelis" are nothing more than Khazar-European-Zionist-wanabe "Jews" who have NOTHING to do with the REAL Jew of the Bible..........you can call me anti-Semite but I have nothing against the 33% of Arabs who are semites or the REAL Jews who were already in Palestine before the Khazar European came in.

I know, I kow......I am a troll, Oi Vey, Oi Vey I think that I am going to die and make it six millions and one.

Devils in the details of course. Israel wants max land pals want max land and it's hard to reconcile these two points. In fact it will never be reconciled until Armageddon as poster above notes. Or haven't y'all noticed this has dragged on forever?
