Where do you typically buy new PC hardware (online stores only)

I have usually found that googlegear.com has better prices than most places like newegg.

I'm trying to build a server and I want to get the best prices that I can and still deal with a reputable online store.

Any good recommendations?

Anyone had a bad experience with googlegear?

Newegg, GoGoCity, buy.com, occasionally Directron, and 1COOLPC. All very reliable, good prices (well, not so much with Directron).

Newegg (not only for prices but more for their reputation)
Googlegear
GameVE

All of which I've had great results with, but my first choice is always newegg.

Newegg, SVC, and Staples (PM + coupon heaven!).

I also check out AllStarShop, Directron, and MWave, but I've never actually ordered anything from them as the above stores stock just about anything that I want. I'll use Amazon or Buy.com for more consumer-oriented PC stuff.

i like newegg, googlegear.com(alot of stuff comes with free 2nd day shipping), svc(great for fans/heatsinks and stuff like that), exacliberpc.

Only Newegg because I have no other reason to buy from elsewhere (unless one of them has Newegg's great reputation and is NOT based in CA so I don't get charged like 50 bones tax 😉 )

Tax aside, its annoying to buy everything from newegg. Like if you buy a 99 cent 3-pin fan extension or something shipping is probably like 5 dollars for it, and it always 5 dollars it seems, not 2 or 3, but 5 dollars. its the same with fans and other stuff. at svc, atleast they total it differently.

I used to play the pricewatch game ... however for me, its quicker, easier, and usually cheaper to just deal with newegg (though I do stray from them if i see a hot deal elsewhere)

newegg has big pictures, better for case shopping than the "image shown is for display purpose" icon of an image at googlegear.
