Where do you put your sunglasses when you aren't wearing them, but are out?

I can't wear them on my head, they just fall off. 🙁 I usually just hang them from my collar or put them down on the table if I'm sitting.
 
I can't leave my sunglasses on top of my head, my noggin is ginormous so nothing stays up there. I usually just leave them in the car or hang them on the front of my collar.
 
if i am wearing a hat i put them on the brim... although i broke a pair of Oakleys doing this too much one summer (golf)...

if not i put them on my head but only momentarily... i don't leave them up there all day. that's kinda gay.
 
I have tried on my head, but they do not stay.
If I have a shirt pocket, they go in there.
If not, then I usually put them in the front collar.
However, I do find that I now put them in the back collar when I am at kids birthday parties (because of all the bending. Maybe when they are older, that will stop).

Front of shirt collar. I don't buy expensive glasses so I rarely care what happens to them. Back collar sounds ridiculous though.

Nope, I do that, or hang them on the front of my shirt. The front pants pocket hanging is actually better IMO cause they don't fall off nearly as easily as they can when hanging them on the front of your shirt.
 
I put them in the case I have for them and put them in my hoodie pocket if it's cold enough. If I'm in ABUs I put them in the pants cargo pocket. I just got perscription polarized glasses... so I swap between them and my normal ones. I haven't sorted out what I'm going to do when it's too hot to wear my hoody.
 
I never bother with sunglasses or any other accessories like that for the simple reason that I'm stuck carrying them around or having to put them somewhere.

If I'm going out for a while and it's a little cool but I know it will warm up, I never bother to put a coat on either, because I know I'll end up being too hot and be stuck holding it.
 
never on your head, you look like 80s scum. the general consensus is to wear them on your collar but it would be even better to actually stash them. you need to wear them if you got them, and "not have them" if you're not wearing them.

Considering this was an older thread I will pose this additional thought.

Function over style wins for me on this, as I still use the hanging from the back of collar choice myself. Any other location other than leaving it in the car gives too many chances for loss or damage.
 
You could always wear a hat instead (or in addition) to sunglasses, like so:
