I'm asking here rather than OT because I think I'll get more helpful advice here. My thighs, mostly quads, are getting to the point that I can't really wear most jeans comfortably. I've tried moving up from 34 to 36 in waists hoping that would help and it did, for a while. I really don't want to have pants that are 10 sizes too big at the waist to fit my thighs. That said, I do have some pants that fit comfortably and I have some that fit me like skinny jeans. The issue is I'm having issues finding the brands that fit comfortably and I'm weary of buying online because of the issues I've had with fit before.

At this point I have an OLD pair of rocawear pants that fit and a pair of lee relaxed boot cut jeans that just barely fit. All the other pants I have, mostly areo and Lee, I can barely get my wallet or keys out of. Any suggestions?

nothing is wrong with them, they're just big. Almost every pair of jeans is tight there. I looked around the mall today and couldn't find anything that fit comfortably because they're too big.

I get cheap, no-name brands from Marshall's, Kohl's and the like. I don't pay too much attention to fashion and the cheaper brands don't do the whole skinny jean thing, so with some work, I can eventually find a pair that fits my thighs/butt.

Oh I'd look hilarious in some skinny jeans, I'm not too worried about how fashionable I am. I really just want something that fits decent. I guess I'll just keep looking around..

Look for jeans with a "relaxed" fit. Usually they are loose enough for man legs without being too sloppy. It goes regular<relaxed<loose fit.

I had this same problem for when I was squatting big numbers. I just bought pants with a bigger waist and wore a belt. I never contemplated getting the waist tailored to be smaller, but that seems pretty logical. Or you could just wear sweat pants for the rest of your life :p

I stopped wearing jeans and stick to pleated slacks/khaki's. Quads/Hammy/Inner thighs are just too big for jeans.

Calling BS on a lot of these. Pics or shens. I have huge quads and I just buy relaxed fit jeans and I'm not ripping any jeans. I want to see what kind of quads are just destroying jeans.

Put up or shut up time. Quad pics or I'm calling bs. And no I'm not teh gay.

What's with the attitude?

If you do a decent amount of squatting/deadlifting and aren't fat, your legs will be proportionally larger than your waist compared to the average person. Therefore, it's not surprising that a pair of jeans designed to fit the average guy won't fit everyone. I don't exactly have a lot of pictures of my legs, but you can get an idea of my quads from this picture from the CF Games qualifier last year and my ass from this delightful picture my girlfriend took while I was climbing. My legs aren't comically large - I'm not "destroying" jeans - but they are proportionally big enough that many jeans are tight in the thighs/ass/crotch.

Sorry if it came off as attitude but when I hear of a guy that rips a pair of jeans up I'm picturing Ronnie Coleman. Just a little skeptical is all.

I never said I ripped anything, I said I'm having a hard time finding pants that fit.

My thighs right now at 230lbs and ~15% BF are 28.5" and my hips (widest part around my ass) are 42". I have not found a pair of jeans that fit me right. Some fit better than others, but I still have to buy a size bigger and just deal with having a looser waist. I've been buying Levi 569's lately.

I've never been much of a lifter, but I have a slightly stalky build ( for being 137lbs and 5'8", lol) and have played soccer / cycled my whole life... I also have these issues with my thighs fitting in something that my fits mt waist.. I'm not sure of my thigh measurements but anything larger than 30" waist is too large, 28 fits good at the waist...but my thighs fit in a 32 properly... it sucks cause the pants buckle a ton if I try to belt up a 32" waist... so I just wear 30's and wear the belt a little relaxed and my pants can sit low on my hips

Probably not the most fashionable look and a little tight in the thighs, but at least I can almost move comfortably... I prefer shorts / cargo pants as they tend to be pretty loose all around and just fit better.

It isn't a great pic but those are the biggest pants I have and you can see there isn't much room left in them when I'm sitting. I'll try to get my gf to take a few later tonight if I remember.

I have this same problem. The problem with buying pants a size bigger is that when they get down to your thighs they are like big tents on your feet and calves and I hate that.

I still only have one pair of jeans that fit me nice that are kinda snug on my thighs but like taper down and get skinnier at the bottom so they don't look weird. Bought them like five years ago and I love them but I can't even find another pair like it. And the company changes models every year so it's not like I can buy it again.. grr.

I wear Lucky Brand jeans. Get them at the outlet malls here in Orlando for around $30 a pair, their usually $60-$100 in department stores. Their tailored in style and fit well for my bigger legs.
