Many years ago.... Hockey Goalie. All amatuer. Not even in school.
My school didnt have ice or roller hockey and in College, went STRICTLY Deck....
Ahhhhhh the memories.

The BEST fact about migrating to Deck. Cheaper!! So I played WELL into my married life and played the game with my one son. In my next to last season he was on the team, 14 or 15 at the time. He had super skills and played with me in the mens league. We won a championship and to this day I have a team pic after that win, hanging in my office, and there is my 14 year old, amongst this bunch of ragtag old farts.... And he has the champaigne bottle.

He had a wise mouth. NEVER foul just super clean trash talk. NON STOP.
One day an opposing player just crushed him and took him down.... My son was laughing and the guy said "@*%^#@, you're a kid and why are you laughing???".
He said "right now there is a 6'3' guy running from the crease and he is going to kick your ass. That be my dad".
No need really. By the time I got to the center line, the entire bench was on him. We lost that game. By default. And the next one too.

Did I say ahh the memories.

Mine (obviously) comes from the Godfather, but through a rather circuitous path. I named my awesome tomcat Don Vito in 1995, then later started using that as a handle for online gaming (mostly Quake 2 and Action Quake). I then used it when I joined the forum in 2000. I later appended it to Don Vito Corleone after Bam Margera's uncle, who called himself Don Vito, was arrested for child molestation, so it would be clear I hadn't named myself after him.

Character from the novel Sharra's Exile, by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Also used it as a character name in EVE Online.

They share a common ancestor, so they are technically pandas.

/facepalm.

let's not get into this, but they are part of the family that includes racoons and weasels.

they are "technically a panda" just as they are "technically a dog." or "technically a cat."

As much as some people here have hated on it mine is from the Chronicles of Amber novels...I loved the books and took the name of the main character from the first half of the series
