Washing trucks at a local trucking company. We had a big washbay that held 3 full tractor trailers. SUCKED in the winter when the doors would open for them to bring in or take out a truck.

I didn't work until my senior year in high school, just before I turned 18. I worked january-june at a hospital clinic after hours, as a file clerk... filing medical records and verifiying microfilm (this was 1974 :) ). I spent 5 weeks in europe and a week at the beach that summer and spent the rest of the time working as a janitor at a church, did the same over that christmas break from college and then didn't have another job until I graduated. (at which point I sold mens accessories at jcpenney for 6 months before I found a real job).

sad thing is I don't make much more now than I did then, but at least now I only work <45hrs a week instead of about 80hrs a week +high school.
