I have a friend with an old computer, he just wants to add more memory.
I cant find the computer on PNY or Kingston memory configurators.
Its a compaq pentium pro / 200 mhz
1.4/2.0/32mb/cd/vga = floppy/hd gig/ram/rom/video i guess
also number: 354in6
and: 6638bbh3p631
It also has a scsi hd, its a desktop, not tower, and looks like it has 8 memory slots. (2 are used up with what I believe are 16 meg sticks, and theres a sticker on it I can see that says edo)
Computer is running win95 still. He only uses it for dial up internet and thats really all, no games or anything.
ANy idea where I can find info on this computer, and what exact memory pin configuration it has.
Is it really worth filling up the slots to 128 (I assume max) ram, would that help at all. Thanks
