I never buy cheap liquor so I don't keep an eye out for cheap vodka. However, I need some really cheap stuff so I can make vanilla extract. Besides some crazy one day a year sale, where can I reliably find cheap vodka? What store and what brand?
Thanks.
Thanks for the smart aleck replies. I wasn't asking what's the cheapest vodka I could buy in a particular store. I was asking in general. Like "Costsco tends to have handles of Kirkland Vodka for $10. It's the cheapest I've found" is a useful answer.
Everclear would be good but I don't have a Beverages and More near me. And yes, cheapest vodka is best from what I've read. The vanilla will be the dominating flavor.

When I was in Vladavostok, Russia, (1999) you could pick up an equivalent to a fifth of vodka for about $.80....
1. Go to liquor store
2. find cheapest vodka
3. ???
4. profit!
