Growing up I was a Hershey Guy .. Recently I picked up a bar and it was made in Mexico --- no way would I buy it even if CVS bestowed a 50 cent coupon so net cost was 24 cents.
Personally I have tried most of the high end stuff, I go with Green and Black 85 % (2.50 per bar when order a box at my local Organic/Natural Market).
I also enjoy http://www.shilohfarms.com/products/Cocoa-Powder,-Organic.html for baking. On sale I get it for ~ $8/pound and that lasts about 6 months.
