When I get moderately depressed, I take a bunch of nyquil, and hit the sack. Feel a lot better in the AM.

I've never really laid it all out before. There are a number of things I keep to myself only.

but fortunately I have friends & family in real-life!

As do i. Unfortunately i know better that none of them will actually listen to me...rather than just hear me speak and in turn try to either solve my problem (which i'm not asking them to do) or they respond with their own rants/raves or experiences (which i don't want to hear, i just wanted them to listen).

So yeah.

Ah! Mi hermano!

I am in the same boat, except I have a wife. I do talk to her sometimes when I am finally at the limit of my bottle...assuming she's has stopped talking....or is taking a breath. ;)

Usually SO, but dont really have anyone at the moment who I trust enough to share my feelings/thoughts

Its very very rare for me to "open up" to someone... I think I never did completely, I need to have a tremendous amount of confidence on that person... Life has thought me just about anyone will backstab you with the wrong bit of information as soon as they get the chance, so its better to keep things to myself

I am way too guarded to just open up to someone. It's just my personality.
Women learn to hate me for this reason. :(

But the men find it oddly fascinating, don't they? :p

I am working very hard at handling all of my own needs and my own problems so I try to avoid burdening
anybody by forcing them to listen to my tale of woe.

Can I handle your needs?

Everyone is having stupid 'funny' (which aren't) answers.

Me? My parents. (I'm only 18)
