I don't know whenever I see a republican the image of a straight person that has never done any drugs and carries around a bible comes to my mind.

I imagine them to sound like and have the mentality of Rush... Scary... If not just a little more idiotic than Rush that that would be kinda hard to do since Rush is hard to beat ... Maybe a little bush and McSame in there... And don't forget about Palin (ish)...

After thinking about that for awhile ... I've come to the conclusion that the lines between a republican and a democrat have become so skewed and blurry ... I think the two parties have just MERGED into the middle road (the majority) and the 10-20% extremes are on the side lines screaming how you should vote this way or that! hahaha

The followers of Rush are, indeed, more idiotic than Rush. The core motivator for Rush to spout lies over the airwaves is to provide a source of entertainment and his reward is money and a lavish lifestyle. He doesn't even have to believe what he lectures about because the money will keep pouring in regardless. it becomes very clear why there is such a fascination with Zombies and the walking dead taking over the country and the world. Does anybody remember the horror in childhood when you realized your parents were automaton whose aim was to suck you into their living death?

We are surrounded by folk that are actually brain dead. They can analyze nothing and can only regurgitate, and dance like organ grinder monkeys. All stimulus response is done by a program.

For example, we have all, I am sure, seen the data that shows that for many years the rich have gotten richer at an accelerating rate leaving behind the 99% in terms of growth of income and that as a result the life of the many has become more difficult while the lives of the few have gotten better and better.

It is also widely believed that Republicans favor the rich over the poor yet millions and millions of folk who will never be in the 1% vote for those who increase income disparity.

You have to operate under programming to vote against your own interests but there are millions and millions of marching morons who will and we see them post here in P & N regularly. It has to be sad to be brain dead, to be a cheap robotic slave of propaganda.

I know how angry you are to be this way and how ashamed you are. I know how deeply humiliated you were. I know how harsh your discipline. I know how joyous you were to acquire Stockholm syndrome and surrender your identity to the Borg and I know the depth of that pain.

But I know too that for every prison created there is also created a key.

You may be only a program but every program that can be installed can be deleted.

Once again I am not Vaughn, but being a DJ and in a band and being a small time political speaker for 15 years crossing the USA a few times a year on the road pretty damn well qualifies as "getting out".

I am not going to bash out Tennessee (Memphis is a great place) but really? Ironic was a poor choice.

Hmm, I am a bit flattered but I really if anything want to concentrate on local stuff, I cannot leave town or anything like that as I have my hands in quite a bit of nightlife you could say.

Besides, if I did this for a living I feel I would have to compromise.

If you purge dissent then it is no longer revolution. Thus I don't take well to rewriting what I speak if it is forced on a regular basis. If you can dig it.

I actually like the fact that OWS has no "leaders" or "causes" (liberals can have sooo damn many!) as I can speak freely.

Besides that I get on the mic usually only to announce last call or introducing bands/thanking people for coming out.

If anything I am positioning to run for a small part of my local government in the next two terms. I really do not want to run for SF city council though, they are the laughingstock of the nation with goofy shit.

This alternate reality article made me think of all the good folks here that actually live in an alternate reality.
