I can name 10 wrestlers with more charisma than the rock, and about 50+ with better wrestling ability.
IE:

Better Charisma in no particular order

1. Hulk Hogan
2. Ric Flair
3. Jerry Lawler (Memphis days)
4. Dusty Rhodes (NWA days)
5. Jake Roberts
6. Ultimate Warrior
7. The Sandman
8. Steve Austin
9. Sting
10. Rob Van Dam
 
Dunno about Jake, he wasn't that popular, but I do like him more than the rock and of course his brain buster move. too bad his wife ran off with some other wrestler IRL.

oh don't get me wrong, I like him a lot, but I think he's underrated.... he should be more popular.
