When was the last time you chaged your keyboard?

I'm STILL using a weird old natural one with an AT connector - I predate PS2! I have numerous other ones lying around, but after using a natural keyboard for so long, I just can't stand a normal sized keyboard. My wrists get sore because it feels so cramped 🙁

Do you others who use natural keyboards feel the same way? I get made fun of at lans because of it 😛

Why do some people still use mouses with balls?

Because both of my opticals have recently died, and you simply cannot kill a ball mouse 😉

Pretty much. My wrists don't hurt, but I can't type as fast on a regular keyboard as I can on a ergonomic one.

The only reason I don't like M$ naturals is the placement of the "6". The way I learned, your right index finger is supposed to hit it. M$ decided to play with my emotions so I decided to play with their income. Some company I'd never heard of called Orteck makes a natural kb for ~$15. The 6 is right where it should be.😛

Cool ... A logical answer 🙂) (doube chins cause Im fat)

I got a new keyboard/mouse about a year ago, but I recently switched back to an old board/mouse. The new ones don't fit into my KVM switch. There's not enough space for the size of the damn connectors. 🙁

I've had this keytronic standard kb for over a year and it's still running great. Definitely the best kb I've ever owned too, it's firm and makes a clicky-type noise that's so much better than the new "soft touch" kbs on the market.

congrats on the new job.......i havent changed my keyboard since i built my first comp........about 3 years..................

about 3 years. My black IBM keyboard rocks, but is finally starting to break down. After numerous spilled drinks on it I'm suprised how long its lasted. Probably gonna pickup a Duo MX next. Played so many hours of CS and BF1942 on this keyboard the WASD keys are starting to fade 🙂, sad to see it go.

Basically when I went from XT to AT technology. I've been using the same IBM PS/2 Keyboard for a long time (I might have changed it once or twice between systems, but simply because I have a few and when I pack them I don't mark them). It still works quite well.

I have a real IBM mechanical keyboard. It is in the same condition it was when I first bought it... 6 years ago?

Just replaced mine 2 months ago. Bought a cheepo $6.00 keyboard to replace another cheepo keyboard that I've had for about 5 years. I like the cheepo plain jane keyboards.

I just replaced all my keyboards with wired and wireless Logitech Elite and MX Duo keyboards a few months ago.

I like them, but I kinda miss my old Dell Quiet Key. I had that one for nearly 7 years. Took it apart three times over the years to clean it, and it still works great. It serves as the keyboard for my DVD changer now.

A couple of years. I was into the wireless thing for a while and realized that I never move my keyboard or mouse anyway. I'll buy another cheapy when this one dies.

I just got a new Microsoft Natural here at work.... I've got a bunch of Dell branded keybaords at home that I could swap out at any moment, but I like my Microsoft Natural at home too. I just don't need it....I'm running Linux. 😛 All those extra buttons are useless unless I dock my laptop or fix my Win2k box.

just a few days ago actually. I went to the natural keyboard. Its a bit big for my liking, but you cant beat the comfort.
