Trump abolishes free trade, forces companies to build factories all over the USA, which creates an economic boom.

In two years democrats will be kicked out of the senate, except for the most liberal states. Even the liberal states will be looking for construction dollars, which will make voters reconsider voting democrat.

In four years Trump is reelected. ISIS is history, middle east has stability, relations are good with Russia, middle class is well on its way to being restored.

What platform can the democrats hope to run on to ever get a foothold?

Major media lied about the polls and the details to get hillary elected, and the voters saw through it.

The election was close. Electorally he won a few states by slim margins that would have flipped the script. Then lost the popular vote by a substantial number. This was a textbook close election. Obama won by substantially greater margins and his victories were not technically landslides either.

If Trump abolishes free trade he will alienate countries where he wants to expand his business empire. And who is gonna make his and Ivanka's products now?

1.Trump is a politician in high office; therefore, most if not all of his promises will be lies or half truths (much more likely the former)

2. The companies are not separate from the US government. These two feed each other and help each other. These companies make trillions of dollars of revenue per year. The government cannot and will not alienate it's partner (in crime?). Many US politicians have deep connections with these companies. Many or most of Trump's picks will likely come from the corporate world. Their aim is to maximize profits and grow; the government cannot tell them what to do because that's not how the game is set up. Don't fall for the lies.

3. ISIS will cease to exist in 4 years not because of what Trump will do but because ISIS is just another name of a rag tag group that serves the interests of America. They are the new boogeyman to replace al-qaeda (or maybe ISIS is al-qaeda). Remember, America has a trillion dollar military (give or take) but cannot defeat guys with old pickup trucks. Yeah, whatever. It's another way to feed the war machine and kill innocent people.

4. Middle East will not have stability because your Western governments will not let it. It is not in the interest of the West to have peace and stability in the world; therefore, America and its partners will do everything possible to destabilize the Middle East as they've done for the past many decades. Remember, it's all about interests, not spreading some kind of goodness

5. Russia might be actually fighting the so-called ISIS in Syria, who knows. But what you hear on TV about Trump and Putin might all be a game to fool the masses.

6. Fear mongering is what the US government does, both parties included. The Republicans care about abortion but have no problem killing millions of people in phony and unnecessary wars. Democrats say they will act differently in foreign policy but results say otherwise. They also are promoting this BS threat from ISIS.

7. Major media gave Trump unlimited coverage for the past 1+ year. If they really hated him, they would not have done so. In fact, the media has been giving Trump coverage for many, many years. They've made him a famous name. Sure, they hate him though ...

We have MILLIONS of Americans out of work as it is right now, and most of them are not counted as they have been out of work for so long and they refuse to work at Obama's version of "job creation" - Mcdonalds Burger flipper for $8 a hour...The reason many people threw their dice [vote] for Donald Trump and not for Hillary Clinton is that for one, she is smelly to so many people since she is corrupt as can be, but also that her economic policies mirror that of Obama and to those who critically look at the jobs Obama has created, they suck to be quite frank with you.

I give Trump accolades for keeping 1100 carrier jobs in the USA as those jobs pay well, and i hope they stay permanently. He did what Obama would never do there...But if Trump fails i will call him out on it and i believe alot of other Trump supporters will do so aswell, because he made big promises and the people voted for that "change" he was singing about...So its on him now, if he doesnt deliver he will be a one term President and likely reviled by a large portion of his own base.

Clinton's website had literally hundreds of pages of policy that detailed her exact plans for dozens of different areas of domestic and foreign policy. It was the epitome of substance. Trump had functionally no policy proposals to speak of and the ones he did have he contradicted himself about constantly. He was the definition of 'hot air'. How on earth did you not notice his near total lack of any substance?
