I dunno this situation doesn't seem too shocking or would get a shocking reaction. its a discovery channel not springer.

one couple were husband/wife the other were really just two women.

did the show have a Now woman tell another guy, she used to be a he?

if I was in a situation that girl used to be guy I would run for the hills.

My best friend since 3rd grade is about to have a sex change. He said he just feels more like a girl.....though he doesn't get sexually excited by males..

So you have a little vomitting fit, then jump straight back into the sack with him/ her? So open-minded, good on you. :)

Everyone who's ever said that was full of it.

That's kind of weird. I've never known anyone like that, but now that I think about it I have to ask, what do you really think? I mean this is your best friend - can you look back at your friendship and say, "yeah, given certain indications and things I know about him, I can see how he might feel that way." Or is it something that just seems so out of the blue, something you would have never expected?

It seems so out of the blue. Though I know his dad is off somewhere else....his dad has had schizophrenia for along while.
My friend has always liked checking out girls around me and has gone out with a few. He even gripped to me once about a telemarketer calling him "maam" one time even though his voice wasn't ifeminate and was worried that his voice sounded too girly to others. Personally I think the psychologist has swayed him to think it. Plus guess what....he may be featured on a future Discovery channel episode like that. That is how he is getting the surgeries paid for.

It could be possible that he's a little messed up at the moment and getting swayed by his psychologist. I sure hope he's making the right decision for himself, because it sure is one hell of a drastic change that will most definately effect nearly every aspect of his life, for the rest of his life.
