When I woke up, Mom and Dad are rolling on the couch.

"Before we married, Mommy served in the WACS in the Philippines."
Now, I had heard the WACS recruited old maids for the war.
But mommy isn't one of those, I've known her all these years.

I spent a lot of my youth reading and listening to albums.

Yes, kids.....we used to have these things called vinyl albums and they were far superior to any damn CD!!!

Remember when you'd spend hours listening to the album while checking out the "liner art?" Back then, the COVER the music came in was just as important as the tunes themselves. 🙂

For example, Led Zeppelin III's album had that rotating wheel thing...wasn't that cool?
