Oh yeah...nothing like buying a new album, taking it home and putting it on the turntable, kicking back in your bean bag chair, and just listening to the music and trying to figure out what in the hell the cover art meant. Then there were the goodies inside with the albums. People come to my house and are amazed thatOriginally posted by: MichaelD

Some girls you meet
Seem so complete
Like they don't need nothing from you
They're out to show you
They don't want to know you
When deep inside they do
Well, this girl didn't want me
Or anyone else, she was alone
I thought I'd give it a try
I was a young bull
Stomping in the fields
I saw red when she walked by
Name THIS one! heh.

I spent a lot of my youth reading and listening to albums.
Yes, kids.....we used to have these things called vinyl albums and they were far superior to any damn CD!!!
Remember when you'd spend hours listening to the album while checking out the "liner art?" Back then, the COVER the music came in was just as important as the tunes themselves.
For example, Led Zeppelin III's album had that rotating wheel thing...wasn't that cool?
1. I still have a turntable
2. I have an album collection that the Smithsonian would envy.
