Lightning Razes 62-Foot Ohio Jesus Statue

MONROE, Ohio -- Monroe police dispatchers said a bolt of lightning struck the Kings of Kings statue at the Solid Rock Church, setting it ablaze and eventually leaving behind only a metal frame.

Wow at least back in the middle ages when Christianity inspired artists it inspired them to create works of great beauty. That's just fucking horrible looking. God probably struck it down because the thought "REDO!, you mofos can do better than that!" 😀
 
man, that would have been cool to see...to bad there aren't any pics that would make a great desktop background.

Someone had to have taken a picture of it. It's right off a major highway, so thousands of people would have driven by while it was burning.
