Good you are committing a crime. THERE WILL BE NO DRAFT anyway. As for you I hope the Feds catch up with you and you go to jail.

im sure my lawyers will be abel to keep me out of jail. After all that is what they get paid for .

I doubt you'll go to jail because I'm willing to bet their are thousands who haven't. I filled out my card when I was 18 like a good little boy :)

If you don't fill out your selective service card the government knows. I had a friend that just kept forgetting. He was sent a certified letter that said he had have his registration done in 48 hours or he was going to be arrested.

hmm, well they will have to know were i leave right.Yes they can find out. But i have a feeling they have better things to do then do that. Also one thing is to send a letter another thing is to actually follow thru.i bet if he didn't register nothing would happen. It takes post ofice more then 48 before they will be abel to deliver the registration card unless offcourse they told him to do it online.

Umm duh. Of course he did it online. If he put it in standard mail they would have arrested him. He forgot not them.

*Shrug* Do what you like. It might be better if you didn't go. Your stupidity would probably get someone killed.

Millennium, I believe in protecting ones country and fighting for freedom.

But, this isn't WW2. There is no genocide, or fight for equality, etc.

Who can truly judge whether or not an individual is true to their country simply because they won't support this war?

Who is to say that this war is a necessity? I agree, Sadam is dangerous...and needs to be dealt with, but just because someone doesn't support this war doesn't make them a bad person. Would you fight in a war you didn't believe in, just because your country told you to?

See people don't believe in this war because they are scared to fight to uphold our freedom. I honestly believe that if Saddam was singinga peace tune or we had no reason at all to even be discussing war that I would not be for a war either. I am not advocating war here(I hope we can have a peaceful solution) but if there is one I believe that it will have its reasons. You are asking me to answer a what if question that I cannot answer. If Bush wanted to go to war tommorrow against Mexico I would have serious problems with it and would hope that Congress and the people of this nation would not let it happen. I am not a blind supporter of either side. My ulitmate goal is to see peace but I can't sit back here and just hope for it. If Saddam is doing what I believe he is doing then I would gladly fight if drafted. If someone doesn't support this war it DOES NOT make them a bad person. If someone dodges the draft or doesn't fill out their Selective Service info then it does make them a bad person. I have more faith in our system of government than some people do. It isn't perfect and a lot needs to change but I think we are going about the Iraq situation with good intentions and a logical mind.

No one can say this war is a necessity and we don't even know if things will come down to a war. I hope not, but I am not going to sit here and be suprised and then run away if we do get in a conflict. It isn't about being a patriot or doing my duty. It is about doing the right thing. In this case doing the right thing would be going to war if I was to be drafted. There is not going to be a draft so there is nothing to worry about for those supposed draft dodgers. Now the idiot that didn't fill out his Selective Service does have something to worry about.

I'm doing a heck of a lot more to support the war effort then you, unless you are in the armed forces.

Just out of curiosity, what is it that you do that supports war effort?

Currently I'm assigned to the Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV-Navy) developmental program.

Look at yourself. You are cracking on people and acting like Charles Bronson but this is your direct quote from a previous message "The military never seemed like what I wanted to do." I love it when people who aren't in the military, have no intention of joining the military are the biggest war mongers. Reminds me of George and Dick.

Sh!t I searched for 20 minutes to see if I ever said anything that could even be misconstrued as that. Of course I found nothing.

Unless I'm making this up, this truly sets you up as a big hypocrite when you attack people that don't want to join the military.

Well if everyone felt that way, we'd all be speaking German and wearing swastikas professing our loyalty to the Nazi party. I mean, everyone knows that people join the military because getting shot and killed is near the top of everyone's list of favorite things to do; there are NO other reasons one might join the military, such as service to one's country, protecting one's freedom, defeating oppressive regimes, or any frivolous things like that.

Thank goodness not all men are lacking a pair. Go to Canada, they don't seem to mind cowards (since they have us to protect them).

I give ya props... your one of the few in this thread that don't have their head completely burried up their ASS! Bunch of fvcking cowards around here... If you don't like the US move to Iraq so i can be the one to shoot you pansy ass!! I'm not enlisted but if i got drafted i'd do it with pride and dignity. Something that many lack these days... Oh i forgot your pride is in your little 4 banger ricer mobiles...

Can some of the older generation in here stop bagging on the younger generation? We all arent self centered whiners. I see and work with many enlisted airmen, sailors, marines and soldiers who arent concerned with theyre own priorities. We're not as bad as you think. Please, give us some credit.

oh, what a big man YOU are by making up some inane comment and then trying to pass it off as an insult.

and I wasn't aware that understanding incoherent idiotic drivel was a sign of intelligence
