It's not so much how it'll look, but how it'll feel. And you'll feel a world of difference b/w 30 and 60+ fps, IMO. You're in for a treat. 🙂Originally posted by: JasGamer
Having had a computer that plays CS 1.6 around 30fps and looks fine, I was wondering:
How different do high FPS really look?
everyone who says they don't want minimum fps under 60 is just saying that for bragging rights. They most likely wouldn't be able to see a difference btween 40 and 60.

but even in the movie theater I am occasionally annoyed by the choppyness of 25fps.
Take your favourite FPS (or FPS comparison tool if you have one) and cap it at 30 FPS. Play for several hours and then uncap it and play for another few hours.in america dvd's are at 29.97 fps. everyone who says they don't want minimum fps under 60 is just saying that for bragging rights.
Usually because they've never seen better. Or never tried to compare it to something better.30fps is really all it takes for some people to be convinced of smooth motion

DVD movies r all at 25 FPS ,so anything above 25 fps dus not make a difference and thats the truth no matter what anyone says.
To convince someone that something is untrue you only need to show them the truth. When they are already convinced of smooth motion, it doesn't get any better.
