Don't get me wrong, I've had their CD for a while and there are times that I really enjoy listening to it. But wtf did listening to them become so popular? I swear I can't walk 20 feet on campus without seeing someone in a PS shirt or something, not to mention everyone and their mother is associated with 5 Postal Service fan clubs on Facebook (which is something of a fad in itself, but at least its useful). It used to be such an underground sort of thing (and I never really enjoy Death Cab).
Oh, and that acoustic version for the M&M commercial is godawful. *puke*
As a final thought, it just occured to me that the Postal Service/Death Cab came out of the Puget Sound, so I suppose it'd be understandable if anyone not from Washington was like "WTF?"
