Is it time to resurrect the Anti-SUV Brigade? 😛

No.

If you don't like them fine, that's up to you. I don't really like them either. But if someone does like them and wants one they should be free to buy one. It's their money, their choice, it is a free country.

Thanks, you answered my question. 😛

I see so you would rather force your ideals on others. My brother happens to like his SUV, in fact he even uses it as one. He had a small car and it just didn't cut it for his job at all.

One of the biggest problems is we need more refineries. NEWER refineries that are less prone to problems and are also more efficient. Can't build them though because the greenies won't allow it :disgust:

Tell you what, if you want more refineries we'll build them next to your child's daycare or next to your house or your parents house. How's that sound?

I'm not forcing my ideals on you. I'm expressing my opinion.
ah that is what america is, forcing the ideals of the majority onto the minority, so take em and like em dammit!

personally I'm glad its going up. Do I like paying high prices? No. But take a look around, with gas prices rising everyone is looking for alternative fuel, greener cars, ways to get rid of our dependency on foreign oil. This has sparked innovation, or at the very least gave it the right away to flourish.

stop buying cheap sh!t from overseas that you don't need and the dollar will stop falling. price of oil is pretty flat compared to euros, gold, pounds, whatever. the only thing it's up against is dollar and things tied to the dollar like yuan and yen.
SSSHHHH, what you suggest is revolutionary, therefore, you are a revolutionary. Please answer the door. The nice agents are here to help you pack.

 I'd rather look to alternatives to drilling for more oil and building more refineries.

Buying bigger gas guzzling vehicles was never the answer. Too bad it took so long for some of us to figure that out.

lol chumps, what are we supposed to do? I have to drive to work, I need gas for that, all the common american can do is sit back, pay the prices, try to drive less or use less gas another way and watch the tides sway.

Listen. And understand. Those gas prices are out there. They can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

Stop buying and using huge shitty SUVs/Trucks just to drive from point A to B and getting shitty gas eating mileage.

that doesn't stop gas from increasing in price though.

hell no they are never going to go down. why should they? they know that people will pay for it. sure they will whine and congress will call for a investigation but nothing is going to happen. Long as they give a excuse then its all good.

personally i think they are shooting themselves in the foot. I think if they didnt raise it so much people wouldnt care to find a alternitive fuel source. with them jacking it up so high every year people are willing to spend money on looking for diffrent ways. If they raised it little by little they could milk this far longer then i think its going to last.
