I like it, throws out a lot of the crap from 30 years of inconsistent comics and just goes for shock and awe and insanity "omg the hulk ate that guy and had a boner!"

Plus, their movies and cartoons seem to be heavily based on the ultimate universe, though not completely.

The movie is basically the last episode of the show. Don't watch it without seeing the show first.

Actually, most of what the Xmen movies (the first 2 not the other abortions) are based on are Mark Millar's work the couple years leading up.

I don't get the Ryan Reynolds hate. He's a great actor in films that give him a chance, mostly indie films.

Check out 'Chaos Theory' or 'The Nines', good work there, and films that aren't run of the mill.

I Like the guy. i think he is a good actor for some roles. such as playing deadpool.

hal jordan is something difrent. i just can't see him pulling that off.

My bad, I thought it was more like 8. :hmm:

It is an HBO show so that means it is a true hour (like 54 minutes) unlike network shows which come out to like 42 minutes after removing commercials.

Honestly, Season 1 and 2 were outstanding and Season 5 really does a great job ending the show.

If you haven't watched Firefly, I'd really really suggest that as well. It was only one Season like 14 episodes and following the 42 minutes each.
Dr. Horrible isn't really that long and I'd say worth the couple minutes to see if you like it.

Ok guys, you've convinced me, I just queued up the entire series on Blu-ray. Hope it's good!

For anyone that wants an update, the entire cast was at comic con last night and made an appearance. (Including Samuel Jackson)

It was announced that:
Jeremy Renner will be playing Hawkeye

What was the dream he's had his whole life? 🙁

It cut off.

From io9.com:

"I have had a dream all my life and it was not this good . . . This cast is more than I could have ever hoped for. And I am going to blow it. So I need your love; I need your support."
