What's your daily commute?

For me, I just roll out of bed, occasionally I have to get on a plane, but that's it.

Free bus, ~22 minutes travel both directions.

Or a 10 minute drive, about 3 miles (mild traffic). But I'm not paying $200+/month for parking, so free bus.

4.5 miles, takes 9 minutes to get home... one way

It beats my 19 mile commute and previous my 92 mile one way commute

10 minute drive in the morning, it's about 6 miles.

If I leave at 3:30 it's a 20 minute drive.
If I leave at 4:30 it's a 30 minute drive.
If I leave at 5:30 it's closer to an hour.

I try and leave early. Otherwise traffic sucks.

for now, ~65 KM in good traffic; ~45 - 50 min. In a few months, ~6 KM in slightly worse traffic; ~10 - 12 min.

LOL pretty much identical to mine.

Though my company will pay for parking. I just fell in love with the bus. 30 mins of solitude -- read a book, watch TV/movie on phone, music, sleep. Love it, even in the middle of a Wisconsin winter.

drive 1.3 miles, less than 5 min.

Drive 1.5 miles each way, but it usually takes at least 10 minutes. Extra shitty part is I have to cross two train tracks, and one of them is a double set; it's bad enough when one train goes by, but I've had mornings where I had to wait for three trains.

Lol at the 'might as well live on the freeway' option, but I do spend too much time there. 83 miles one way, 1.5 hours to work in the morning (little traffic), but some traffic on the way home, upping it to 2 hours. So 3.5 hours a day on the road, but only 4 days a week unless there's overtime.

Yeah, if both were free, I would still take PT. I like the reading/decompressing time. I've endured PT commutes of up to 1.5hrs either way in the past, and it never bothered me all that much. In fact, I'd rather my PT routes were a bit longer than they are right now.

Holy shit that blows.

It used to be between 35 minutes - 45 minutes, depending on traffic. A couple times it was two hours due to snowy roads. And ALWAYS the freeway is full of fucking idiots that don't belong with a driver's license.

Thankfully last fall I moved closer to work. Now I live exactly 2 miles away, about 5 minutes driving. It's soooooo much better (and I save $300/month in rent).

29 miles each way, through traffic. But we're flexible about hours so I come/go a little later and miss the worst of it. I spend about 90 minutes a day in the car, minimum.
