It's too far to walk (unless I absolutely HAD to) and I'm not frickin riding my bike. I'm just past the 5 mile range at 6. I have no public transportation within 3 miles of where I live. I have young kids that have to be picked up from school that is over 3 miles from my house. Biking is a deathwish with no real good biking lines over most of my drive. And weather here can range from sub zero to nearly 100 degrees of balls-to-thigh-sticking amounts of humidity. That's not really that fun trying to bike/walk/scooter in when you have to wear business professional clothing.
