Modern "enthusiast" class, or modern "OEM" class?

Pretty much any HP you bought in '08 or '09 came with something more like this. Anything with an 8MB cache is going to fall flat on its face in WEI.

that's so true. i used a sata 2.5" 1.5GB/s 160GB laptop HDD in one of my rigs

I know I had a Pentium D 805 @ 3.5Ghz that scored something like 5.x, so it's gotta be pretty bad lol

Dual socket E5-2687W workstation should do the trick. Just don't look at the price tag
