I played the original Jumpgate for over 5 years, including beta. I know how the devs work, and frankly I don't have high hopes for Evolution. They're trying hard to make Jumpgate mainstream, while omitting the gameplay features that made Jumpgate so damned great, because those features wouldn't work in a mainstream game. Hope that makes sense.

Most of the vets I know are taking a wait-and-see attitude towards the release. We'd all love it to be awesome, but we're realists.

Elveon - Did you play Severance - Blade of Darkness? Well, it's one of my all-time favorites, and a very bloody one too. This reminds a lot of it. The battle system seems amazing!

Aion - I'm a fan of MMO games and this one's a real beauty. My only concern is the game mechanics which I don't know enough about yet.

The only game I'm really excited about right now is Mass Effect 2. I'm somewhat interested in Dragon Age and I may get excited about Half Life 2: Episode 3 if any information is ever released, but as far as I'm concerned Valve's failed episodic experiment has really blunted my enthusiasm for the series.

The same can be said for DIII, SCII and probably Call of Prypiat as well. They're just games I "watch for" as future releases. The only game that is guaranteed to be released this year on my list is Mass Effect 2, the rest we simply don't know, and I certainly don't expect DIII until very late 2010 or even early 2011, maybe SCII could be released sometime next year.

Probably because it doesn't seem to be doing much.
I was interested in it in like '06 or whenever it was announced, but there doesn't seem to be much to hear about, and with the demise of the TV shows I can see it falling out of focus somewhat and being met with a mediocre reception if it ever does come out.
