lol, pretty hard to send all 6 playing with jsut 4 tires, gotta be fun driving on highway at nite

That was in my Lebaron. It was mother in the front, and the 5 following close behind. The car was low enough that it just sent most of them flying. 1 got the tire, another left fur on my oil pan.

-Countless insects

-3 rabbits

-1 possum

-1 suicidal squirrel

The squirrel was hiding in some grass that had turned brown. It jumped out right in front of me (there were no other cars on the road) and I barely even got my foot off the gas before I hit it. I looked in the rear-view mirror and the squirrel has it's head ripped off. The head went one way and the body another.

At least it's didn't suffer.

Totaled one car and 3k in damage to my truck :(. At least the car I was driving was my girlfriend's at the time and not mine :).

On the way home a few months ago, I was riding shotgun in my friends Camaro SS. It was late and I was nodding in and out of sleep. While doing 80 mph down the highway, I suddenly look up and see something in the road. Not having enough time to warn the driver, he doesn't see the large deer in the middle of it - already dead and lying on it's side. He ran over the already dead deer with the two passenger side tires. We pulled over to the side of the road to check for damage. Amazingly, no body damage. The only thing wrong was the oxygen sensor harness got pulled from the outlet and a crapload of blood/guts/hair on the underbody. A simple click back into place for the harness and we were on our way again.

One dead deer: $0
One detached harness: $0
30 min. of our time wasted to check for damage: $0
Not crapping my pants in horror: Priceless

One time when I was at work, I noticed a croud of people around my car. Curiously, I went outside to see what was going on. There was a huge ass bird stuck to my grill...I never even knew I hit it.:(

1 suicidal cat ran out of the bushes and under my rear tire..
1 rat on a bridge in New Jersey

Never hit a bird til my wife got a dodge grand caravan. (20 years of driving at this point)
Since getting the DGC, we've hit at least 10 birds with it.

There's gotta be something about the design or color of the van or something... It's like a bird magnet.

And, I tried to hit deer in my old beat up car... was very unsuccessful. I decided the way to avoid deer is not to slow down for them, and to actually speed up and aim for them. Haven't hit one yet, and I'm in a rural area of western NY where there are a lot of deer.

hi guys, post your road kill counts here, accidental or intentional :D

I have only ran over 1 squirrl so far, it was kinda special cuz it was on my first driving lesson (and it made me a much more confident driver afterwards)

killed a bunny. Poor little thing. He didn't know where to go while staying in the middle of the lane. He was thinkingof which way to go, so he ran in circle. My car made the decision for him. Most of the time, i will try to avoid and animals but i always hit them. So this time, i just went straight.

are u attempting to hit a deer just for kicks and personal experiment/satisfaction??

i dunno man, think if i run over a deer i'd feel bad, so I rather go practice on the squirrls and racoons

Just a possum once, and I've been driving for more than a decade.. guess I've been lucky. Also blew the master cylinder in my old car braking to avoid a deer, it was probably on its last legs and that was the final straw... next morning was fun, I was doing about 70 on my way to HS, hit the brakes for an upcoming stop sign, and the pedal hit the floor without so much as a pad touching a rotor :Q Helluva way to wake up... e-brake.

A bird in flight
A cat :( (Had a collar--I felt very bad because I killed somebody's pet--the collar didn't have a tag though, so I just moved it to the boulevard and left.)
A few squirrels
A turtle
A jack-rabbit (a really big-ass rabbit--it was back in my stoned-24/7 days--I thought I was hallucinating at first, but thump, there it was)
An average-sized wild rabbit
Some other rodent--I swear it looked like a guinea pig before I hit it, but I didn't think those things ran wild here in the northern US, so I don't know what it was
