What's your primary core exercise?

I mostly let my Squats, Deadlifts, and standing press take care of my core, but sometimes I do Roman Chair sit-ups or leg raises. I realize the poll ignores obliques and lower back :)

I don't do core exercises anymore after doing stronglifts. After doing pull-ups yesterday my abs were actually really sore, so I don't think i need to.

well i cant do squats, deadlifts, or lower back specific exercises right now cause of 2 messed up discs, but I do a pretty intense ab workout once a week.

i do weighted leg raises on a declined bench, weighted roman chair crunches, these side twists w/a weight on a declined bench (been doing this w/very little weight cause of disc issues, wanna be safer than sorry), and I do some other non-weighted crunches (or cable crunches sometimes) and some non-weighted leg raises in that thing where you can do your lower abs or dips (not sure the name).

I squat 3x a week so that's most of it, but 2x a week I'll do leg raises, crunches and oblique crunches as well.

I do more roman chairs than any of the others, they just feel better to me.

Glute-Ham Developer Situps, Knees-to-Elbows, front squats, and overhead squats are all great for the abs, and I use them in my training. Along with squats, deads, etc.

Other then squats and deadlifts, I'll do some some seated crunch machine and plank exercises once or twice a week.

Crunches; I have to work on my tummy all the time as I have a tendency to accumulate fat in that area.

You aren't reading this forum enough :) Spot reducing is a myth. Here is one, out of a vast sea of explanations-
Arguably the most compelling evidence refuting the myth of spot reduction comes from a study conducted at the University of Massachusetts in the mid-1980s. In this investigation, 13 male subjects participated in a vigorous abdominal exercise training program for 27 days. Each participant in the study was required to perform a total of 5,000 sit-ups over the course of the research project. Fat biopsies were obtained from the subjects' abdomens, buttocks and upper backs before and after the exercise program. Contrary to what spot-reducing proponents would have you believe, the results of the study revealed that fat decreased similarly at all three sites?not just in the abdominal region. These findings may help explain one reason why spot reducing sometimes appears to work. If the caloric expenditure is sufficient enough, it will cause fat from the entire body to be reduced, including a particular target area. Although fat is lost or gained throughout the entire body, it appears that the last areas to become lean tend to be those areas where an individual tends to gain fat first. In most men (and some women), the abdominal region is the most difficult area to trim, while the hips, buttocks and thighs tend to be the trouble spots for most women (and some men).

Your core strength could be much improved by introducing some weight-work or core exercises, I assure you. Try bringing them into your routine.
