also another car-prob a 94 E320 with 80k. How come nobdy looks at Benzes over here? A reliable diesel from the mid 90's will run about 8k. Check those out, they're great cars!

I have a Sony DCS-P100 +256Mb stick waiting, and after that I'll buy a dentist for pulling out one of my teeth :/
$600 + $400

A college education: $42k/yr for 4 yrs...:frown:

Edit: KPSHAH316, I like benzes...lol. We just sold a 1985 300SD (turbodiesel) b/c I'm going to college (more cars than drivers--bad idea). But it was at 200k miles and still going strong...I think the worst problems we had were a tranny rebuild, AC controller replacement, and replacement motor for the power seats. It was a great car...:brokenheart:

Hmmm...not sure man.

I have pretty much everything I'd want or have access to (it's my fathers 😛).

digital camera,
DV camcorder,
nice pc even though it is is about 2yr old (2.4Ghz @ 2.7 etc etc)
fat 23" lcd 😀
iPod,
3 MD's (one player and the other two are recorders)
nice Canondale Bike,

hmmm not much is needed to be spent for now so i get to save 😀

May upgrade my phone sometime in a few months but that isn't going to be pricey though.

Probably get a new HD but that too isn't going to be a 'big' purchase.

Next big purchase will most probably be a car if I need a car of my own to get to work.

Koing

Just bought a TIVO $189 ($100 rebate I believe). My next thing is either going to be an ipod or ibook. I'm beginning the switch baby!

Honeymoon is $4k of that amount... Hawaii ... 2 islands for 12 nights. We priced one out at Liberty Travel and they wanted $5k. So I saved a bunch via Priceline getting even better hotels and cars... Hawaii is simply... expensive.

Didn't happen yet... 9/5 wedding, 9/6 we take off... mmm... vacation...

We've been together 8 years... it's about time we did this. Money isn't being thrown away completely... most gifts will be cash anyway... no big deal.

Just bought a Panasonic 53" Widescreen HDTV ~ $1,350

which one did you get?

The one with the HD tuner inside so I can still get all the basic channels in HD. Olympics look awesome in HD. Movies too.

Actually I was wondering which model. I got the PT-47WXD63 (i think it looks like the one I have.)

I believe its the PT-53WX53.....I could have missed a letter or something. It's got an awesome picture though.

Just by chance today was a very big purchase day by my standards:

Panasonic PV-GS400 Camcorder - ?1500
Acer Travelmate 4001 WLMI Centrino laptop - ?1300

Ordered on-line for delivery next week, when I'll finally be able to start shooting my documentary. Yeah.

Outside of car purchases, I've never come close to spending so much in one day. It feels a bit exhilarating. Partly because I?ve taken so long to decide what to buy, that it?s a blessed relief to have made up my mind at last. 🙂
Both products weren?t on the market when I started researching what to buy. I?m particularly pleased with the camcorder, as it fills a niche that fits perfectly with what I?ve now identified are my needs. Well, at least on paper.
