Other than the zero % that I have on 3 cards, I don't know and don't care.

I have 6.75% or prime+1.75 on my amex blue cash card.
I just called in and asked to have my interest percentage lowered. It was somewhere around 14-17% then.
They lowered it to 11% or something, and I just asked if they can lower it more, and they did.
I was quite surprised.

I always paid off my balance in full before getting this card. But I had to make a large purchase for a car after I wrecked my last one in an accident, so it did really come in handy in emergencies.
I have about a $3000 balance on it now. My monthly interest is only $15. I don't mind paying that to be able to have my car.

Right now, my lowest cards are my Merrill+ Visa and Charles Schwab Visa. They are at Prime + 1.9% = 6.9%

In terms of fixed rate, I've got an Amex Blue with 7.99 fixed, and Navy Federal Visa with 7.9% fixed.

I'm pretty sure mine is something retardedly high like 16-17%. I don't really care though because I never carry over a balance.

No tricks, the offer came in the mail. I called them CC co. and setup the account.

I haven't used the card in over a year.

So, excluding the 0% guys, which I would assume are probably temporary rates, it still seems you can carry a balance and not have the issuer jack up the rates. I always viewed the situation fairly pessimistically, but I guess I was wrong.

0%... I've been able to play the 0% game with those balance transfer specials for about the last 2 years. :)

Exactly. I solely use my cc for rewards.

I have three credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and I actually have no idea what the APR is on any of them. I always pay them off in full when the bill comes, though.
