In my area (San Jose, CA), KFC has the "tender roast" chicken, and it's pretty good. I'm not a big fan of their fried chicken, though.

Worst: Happi House

I can't really describe why, except for the observation that on the one time I ever went there, I could never really describe the place as "happy". It was just wrong, somehow.
