Didn't you post in another thread that you had to sell off some belongings to afford fireworks?

LOL pathetic.

EDIT

Yep:

Did you take some of your stuff to the pawnshop or something? Pawning stuff to buy fireworks...hilarious.

Why? It sounded to me like Alky honestly wanted to put on a grand show for these kids. he sold off a pile of shit that he didn't need to give them that big show.

How could even the most jaded dickbag have a problem with this?

 to Alky.

A store down in Walterboro,SC.

We did get the "Big and Nasty" mortars(on the right) along with an assortment pack but ours came out of Fl.

:D

I assumed you'd be posting in this thread, post-haste.

I was going to comment something like Fireworks: the only thing of value that SC contributes to the Union. :p

We're premier members or whatever so we get the 50% off everything plus all of the freebies that they give you. We have a pretty big party every year and everyone usually chips in at least $20 dollars so we end up with anywhere between $500 and $1500 in fireworks depending on the contributions.

Mortars are your best bet if you're on a budget and want to have a lot of fun though.

Yes, they are if they fly or make noise, although enforcement isn't strict at all.

http://miami.about.com/od/governmentcityservices/a/Fireworks-Laws-In-Florida.htm
"Florida law prohibits any fireworks that fly through the air or explode — such as Roman candles, bottle rockets and mortars — for recreational use."

http://miami.about.com/od/governmentcityservices/a/Fireworks-Laws-In-Florida.htm
"The only fireworks legal for use by consumers who don't possess a special permit are those that fall into the category known as "sparklers"."

http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/20...ireworks-laws-illegal-fireworks-tnt-fireworks
"According to Florida statutes, any pyrotechnics that leave the ground or explode are illegal for recreational use, unless handled by a professional."

http://articles.orlandosentinel.com...ks-ban-small-fireworks-high-powered-fireworks
"But most fireworks are illegal for consumer use in Florida, even if they're available for purchase."
" Fireworks generally approved for use by consumers include sparklers; small fireworks that emit colored smoke only; and glow worms."
"These are the only items consumers without a permit can legally use."
" If it explodes, flies or lifts off, the law prohibits you from lighting it. That includes the popular Roman candles."

Enforcement varies greatly by city, ours (S. Daytona) has it's own ordinance and the cops love running around on the 4th catching people and handing out fines, we just drive 4-5 miles away and see a decent show put on by the next town over..

That was a terribly worded sentence. I really don't know what I was thinking at the time, but the statement should have been I had sold off some of my stuff to support the two kids and my girlfriend. That wasn't about a few hundred bucks for fireworks this year, it's more about freeing up about $2000 a month. I didn't pawn anything though. I have never pawned anything.

Glad it makes you happy though.

I can't believe rockets are illegal in some places.

Do you not have cities? Millions of people stacked on top each other, nose to asshole so they all fit?

No goats, no fireworks, no open fires, no discharging firearms, no loud music after 11pm or whatever, and so on.

We can't all spend our days like the Swiss rolling around in fields of flowers immersed in total sunshine on beautiful farms with luscious blonde women with big smiles and bigger bosoms in white tops and red flowing dresses...

Nice...we got that Tropic Thunder too. I'd have gone more the way you did if we didn't have kids that liked the small BS items like tanks and sparklers.

I gave them each a chance the last couple days to light off something each night. Today the 10 year old picked his sparkler. He was about as thrilled as I was with my 30 shot Falcon Rising last night. Pretty impressive at 3 for $34.99.

Thanks, it's a big adjustment right now just having gotten hit with a major divorce and then taking on my g/f and her two kids and more than likely soon her 22 year old daughter that is having some relationship problems of her own :(.

People like to think I am a dick or something, but I do the right thing; sometimes that's putting my nose in someone's business that I don't agree with.

It's a delicate time for the two kids. One had already had to deal with this situation once in his life with a deadbeat dad (who owes my gf $41k in back support and has the nerve to keep hiring an attorney to force her to come from SC to FL for court crap about trying to reduce his support amount. Asshat did it again for August yet doesn't know she lives here now...I plan to be in court with her).

I didn't sell off stuff for the fireworks, I have sold off stuff to clear my monthly recurring things like my M3 people like to clown about. I was looking at a pretty killer single life and was not expecting what my gf and I discovered together.

You made me realize it's likely a state law. From Maryland we drive to Delaware for ours. They have no big cities so never saw fit to ban them I guess.

You might be the sweetest little cupcake in real life.

We only know what kind of person you are on this forum. And from your posts, you're an asshole (I agree the same can be said about many of my posts). You treat everyone like shit and you can never be wrong and are always quick to spout off about how much money you are spending. Those threads used to blow up with hate but now they just laugh at you. When you disappeared for a few months I thought you had tired from your schtick but now I realize your wife must have taken your laptop when she left you. Now you're selling your M3 so you could buy another computer. Time to drop the act.

The small stuff is fun too. I still have a soft spot for the spinners that you mount on a nail..lol

I like to talk about the money I have now due to how the forum treated me when I thought my 96 Saturn was cool when going back to college at 30 on my own dime full time (it was 1999) and I was meeting a lot of chicks.

My first car at 17 was a $40k Mustang GT fully restored.

During my divorce I had 3 laptops, a full desktop, and two iphones and two other smart phones.

Now I own 5 laptops, my own desktop, and 5 iphones. I own 12 GB of data a month.

The laptops break down to a T60 with radeon and the high res screen the 10 year old uses, my 15 yo and my g/f have ultrabook 15z's I just bought the last couple months, her 22 year old daughter has a 2013 MacBook Pro 13.3, I have a 2010 MacBook Pro 15" (my ex wife I let take her 2011 MacBook Pro 13.3). My PC has 3 TB, 3.7Ghz AMD 955 quad core, 4890 1GB graphics and 8GB under Windows 8.

While I can be an asshole, I don't start it that way. When near virgins here or those without money or experience crap on my honesty, then I fight back.

I have probably been one of the most honest on this forum about my life, I have never hidden my identity and I have always provided proof when asked.

I am selling my M3 (I own a 2012 Mazda 3 GT as well now and it is not as profitable to sell and far more economical to drive around my 1500-2000 miles per month) and some other things to free up about $2000 a month of money so I can handle her and her children and everyone is happy.

Because I am happy now.

So fuck you and your judgment. Please tell me about your life.

I gotta be honest, once you started listed all the stuff you owned again I almost disregarded the entire rest of the post.

You do lay your stuff right out there for everyone to pick your bones and I guess it's not hard to end up being an asshole defending yourself all the time. The amount of time you spend doing that just doesn't seem worth it.
