I like German Pilsners, or beer made in that style. I love Capital Brewery's Capital 1900 and Special Pilsner. So tasty.

That is a good beer....all of Capitol's beers are worthy IMO.

Tonight I tippled IPA and barleywine. I'm standing by my IPA vote, but I'm having a seriously hard time typing . . .

what kind of Barleywine did you have?

Avery's Hog Heaven Barley Wine is very very good IMO

My favorties right now are St. Pauli Girl and Heineken ...to me they are similar in ways.

edit:
Id like a few recommendations for a few more beers to try based on this.

thanks

Heffeweizer from widmer brothers. I know there are others.
New Castle brown ale
guinness

i would like to try a goooooood oatmeal stout. any suggestions?

That's a really tough question, but I love Trappists. I had a Belgium Chimay Quadruple the other night in addition to a local chocolate stout that was great; great body with hints of peanuts.

So many beers, so little time.

LIGHT LAGER: Premium American Lager ( Miller Genuine Draft, Michelob, Coors Extra Gold, Heineken, Beck's, Stella Artois, Singha)

Uh.... since when was stella "Premium American Lager"? It's got more than 1% alcohol so there's no way it could be from the US 😉 Stella is quality European lager. Belgium to be precise.

"Stella: keeping the girlfriend-punching tradition alive"
Touch o' class.

Many years ago in Germany I had a Rummel Dues???

It was excellent, some type of a dark red ale, but I really am not sure.

Maybe one of our Deutsch friends can set me straight.
