and i'll take an ice cold one please.

edit: did you snub Canadian beers?

I didn't snub any beer on purpose...I was cutting and pasting from the BJCP website (see link in OP). However I believe Unibroue is a canadian beer, and they are listed in multiple categories. I have to try some of their beers, particularily the Ephemeral.

Holy Poll Batman! :Q

My favorite beer is Deschutes Black Butte Porter, a robust porter. Very dark, almost coffee-like, with a wonderful thick taste and aroma. But not so heavy that you can't pound them back one after another.

I'm also fond of various microbrewed classic American Pilners, Stouts (Deschutes Obsidian Stout is also very good), various Bitters (English Pale Ales), American Pale Ales, and India Pale Ales.

I like most any beers but Weizens and the thin mass-marketed American lagers (like Budweiser, etc.). I even don't mind Corona (so long as I can squeeze a lime into it).

Nope, look at a case of it, the stuff we get in the US is made in Canada.

I haven't had very many styles, so I chose the old standard:
