Satisfaction by Benni Benassi

Even though it has words I have a version of it without words.

Electric Light Orchestra - Fire on High
I'm surprised I'm the first.
Ecstasy of Gold would probably be #2.

I like the rock'n'roll version of Pachabel's Canon in D along with Chariots of Fire.

ChronoTrigger main theme. Yes it's video game music, but still! Actually like ALL of the music in CT is awesome.

Also, I feel like I should throw in some classical music since no one else has. I mean I guess they're songs? Though I've never heard anyone say "Beethoven's songs", lol. Anyway, I *love* Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata (esp the 1st movement).

Edit: I forgot what the 2nd part of the Pathetique Sonata is like... yeah that's awesome too.

I like

Your Hand in Mine from Explosions in the Sky, Ascent from Brian Eno, CelticFlute.mp3 (no clue what song it is), and this version of Silent Night played on classical harps and stuff.

Now that I think of it, out of my favorite songs, probably 1/3 of them have no words

Backing up the nomination of Your Hand in Mine by EitS.. simply amazing song. Didn't know anyone listened to them out here....

I love them, I like how their songs build up in complexity as the track progresses.

Moments in Love - Art of Noise

Used to put me to sleep every time....I guess the fact that it's like 9 minutes long doesn't hurt.

I listen to a lot of lyrical-less music. So this is hard to answer.

VNV Nation - Electronaut is cool though.

Since I've played a lot of classical, I won't mark them down ...

My more "modern" favorite is from the Matrix, Clubbed To Death (Kurayamino Mix) - Rob D.

Ernesto Lecuona's Malaguena - the original recording. It's really amazing, although he does play it a little sloppily.
