Sound awesome, except for the jalapeno part. Nothing like a good catfish fry.

Fresh Red Snapper is good for a non fried meal.

Catfish and tuna (not by itself, with mayo and pickle, onion, and egg). That is all I like. I just recently started liking catfish, I use to hate it.

For me, Icelandic cod.

WTF I can't get any of that here. THey get plenty of that in Taiwan and I love eating their Icelandic cod, and so I have to settle with Rock Cod or Sea Bass.

CHILEAN SEA BASS FTW! $13.99 / lb? Heh.

I eat whatever I catch usually. As for whatever I can't catch, I like hamachi, salmon, or any deep sea snapper.

Catfish, White Perch, Bluegill (Brim) are my top three. I usually eat them fresh, but they seem to keep just fine if you freeze 'em in ziplock bags full of water. Probably nothing you find in a supermarket will have been frozen like that, though.

While Tilapia is certainly not the strongest-tasting fish, it definitely makes up for its lack of flavor with a great texture, and it's cheap! I'm eating some right now. Oddly enough, I live in Florida and grew up four miles from the beach in Merritt Island. I should consider finding a fish market of some kind to see if I can get a better deal or find something I've never had before.

You know it's time to go grocery shopping when you eat five tilapia filets in one meal because it's some of the last edible stuff in the house. I think I have frozen chicken patties and frozen sausage patties too, but I have nothing to put those on.
