I think this guy knows what he's talking about.

I once ate perch and disliked it.

I like Mahi Mahi, cod, red snapper, halibut, manini, menpachi, salmon, several others that don't come to mind. Never had swordfish, and after reading The Perfect Storm, don't know that I will. And I wouldn't eat shark because I used to skin dive for a living and if I ever do again I want to be able to stare down a shark and say (telepathically), "I've never eaten one of yours, now don't eat me!"

Cabezon. By far its one of the best tasting fish out there.
You can find them in some asian stores along the west coast states. I like to catch my own.

Those are good choices. Orange Roughy is very good baked. Had some Ling Cod one that was outstanding.

Icelandic Cod
I dunno when I was in Iceland I didnt think too much of it.

I usually prefer to munch on tuna anyway, right out of the can.

This is the fish that GOOD fish and chip places use.

It is NOT "fishy".

The best fish and chips I've ever had was Cod in Galway Ireland. The fish in chips in all the places in London and Dublin i've eaten sucks. Western Ireland FTW when it comes to fish and chips!

Best I had was in some little town halfway around the Ring of Kerry.

Toro, Maguro, or Shiro Maguro. Sake. Unagi.

That's basically what I order every time I eat fish, excluding specialty rolls.
