Moser Roth

I go to Aldi once a week to buy Moser Roth and Choceur chocolate bars. If you live near Aldi and haven't tried Aldi brand chocolate bars, you're missing out. It's cheap and better than any US made chocolate bars.

Part of the problem is that chocolate has changed so much in America over the years. I used to love Mr. Goodbars, but Hershey's chocolate has the mouthfeel & taste of wax these days. My buddy just dropped off some chocolate from his trip to Italy, and not that it's explicitly outstanding, but it's just real, authentic chocolate...good enough to eat on its own, like the old Hershey bars were. Some interesting reading on that:
If you have World Market near you, hit them up for some tasty European chocolate. Man. So good.

I do work near one, and haven't tried these... will have to stop in there next week.

Yuck, I don't care for European chocolate (or dark chocolate in general). My tastebuds do not like bitter flavors! Haha. I am a sucker for good milk chocolate though!

European chocolate is not automatically bitter or dark...

Hit up one of these, it's kinda like a Kit Kat made with good milk chocolate/ingredients.

Agree with OP on #1 KitKat and #2 Snickers.

#3 would be tough. Probably Payday. I like the saltiness.

Twix, Baby Ruth, ...chocolatey chip Rice Crispies treat.

My usual picks:
Hershey bar
Nestle's crunch
Reese's PB cups
Kit Kat

Occasionally:
M&M's
Twix
Ferrero Rocher

For desserts that I bake, I grate Lindt bars to use as decoration. I also make a killer Snicker's Cheesecake.

Hubby brought me an assortment of treats from Germany (biz trip), and in order, I really liked Happy Hippo (love this sh*t!), Hanuta, Pick Up!, and Ritter Sport Nugat. The rest were yuck (Super Dickmann's and Bahlsen ABC come to mind).
