643 somewhere around there

After I payoff our Honda Accord, credit card debt, leave 3 credit cards open AND no credit inquiries for over 12 months it should be 700+

Last time I checked it was 710. Probably higher now considering at the time I had recently opened two new CC accounts.

777 as of last month.

where's a good place to check?

I use Equifax to check my score. I actually signed up for their Credit Watch last year. (Ok, I signed up for the free trial and forgot to cancel before 30 days, so I now I have it for a year.)

638, but I have a two year credit history, an auto loan, and an error in my report. That is also with three cards at over 80% of their balance. Now, all cards are paid off, the error is being corrected, and the auto loan balance is shrinking. My Mustang is going up for sale tommorrow on my Engine Builder's Website for somewhere around 32-35k. Once it is sold, I will pay off the explorer. According to the FICO simulator once my cards update their balance for this month I will be around 720. Once I add my Mortgage who knows. The highest it has ever been was 687 when I was 19.

Also depends on where you get that from, for example if you go to an auto dealership it may be WAY higher than your actual score if you had pulled it directly from equifax or another CBR.

people, being in the 600's is not a good thing. The national average is like 720.

No it isn't. It means that less than 50% of people have worse or better than a 720. A 720 gets you really whatever you want. Being in the 600's is NOT bad if you have less than 5 years of credit history. How do you expect someone to have higher than a 720 with two years credit history? How long is your credit history?

See this. Even if you are in the mid 600's you are NOT that high of a risk.

Last I checked, it was higher than the score I got on verbal on SAT, but lower than math score. Sadly, it was closer to my verbal score...

That sounds pretty good.
My credit score is the same as my IQ.

Time heals most credit wounds, wait until at least 14 months since your last credit inquiry to see any changes.
