My sister works for a wellness group and did this when she came over.

My % was 18.1 , my automatic scale said my % was 19.6

Hers was more accurate, but the scale isnt too far off.

Haven't checked for about a month. Last check was around 31% and falling due to working out and diet.

What method was used for the measurement? 5.7% is in the realm of a Tour de France competitor.

I know what my bodyfat is and the linked formula knocked about 5% off the actual figure. You really need someone skilled with calipers to get an accurate measurement.

it says 10%... seems pretty accurate. I've never actually had my body fat calculated, but every doctor I go to says I have around 9-10% by their guess.
BTW, anything below 6-7% is usually unhealthy and improbable, or so I've heard. The skinniest kid I've ever seen (a cross country runner) had about 7%, and you could see every muscle, bone, blood vessel in his body.
