6'2" 200lbs. According to this nonsense I'm overweight with a BMI of 25. I'm trying to get to 205-210. Currently ~15% body fat.

I'd need to weigh 204 lbs to be at the upper end of "normal". I used to weigh that before college and I was a rail. That was before I started working out. According to my BMI I'm just barely "obese" - which I don't think is the case since people tell me I'm crazy when I say I need to lose some weight. I'd be happy if I could drop 20lbs and maintain that weight.

But hey, at least I can hold my own in a bar fight. The BMI must have been developed by people who want a smaller, weaker populace.

Your BMI is 35.6, indicating your weight is in the obese category for adults of your height.

My BMI is 16.

Holy anorexic batman!

Don't worry, you arent the first to suggest such ;p

I usually eat about 4000 food calories per day. My doctors just tell me to just keep eating good food, as I do. :shrugs;

I can't run miles anymore because I lose way too much weight over the course of 2 weeks (15lbs!!) :(

Trying to buy dumbbells and a bench, but they are too expensive as I already rake up 200$ per week in groceries :(

5' 11" - 240 lbs...
Bench: 370
Deadlift: 500
Squat: 450

BMI is the most idiotic scale for fitness... body fat is the more accurate measure

That calculator is horsesh!t. I'm 6'2" and in order to get into the normal range it says I need to be in the 175 range. I would look ridiculous if I weighed that little.

But BMI is pretty dumb, I'm 6'2" 190 and in great shape, but I'm barely in the normal range. BMI is slanted towards less muscular people I think.

I am normal according to the Center for Disease Control.

I don't think this works if you are a weight lifter.

6'3" and 190 and I'm almost overweight according to that. I couldn't be any farther from fat.

BMI is retarded.

Just because you are within your weight range for BMI doesn't mean you're not a fatty.

And being overweight according to BMI, doesn't make you a fatty.
