I bought Radeon 9200 yesterday and run 3dmark2001 build 330 the score is 5352 with cat 3.2 and no oc...

Is that very low?

If so I might take it back for Radeon 9600 Pro next week....

My computer is pretty hurting...

Basically things have never run right since I bought it, but whenver my cpu doesnt crash or I can have it clocked at its original 1.2ghz it performs a fairly low score...

Geforce4 Ti 4200 at stock and cpu at stock is about 7750 if I'm lucky...

I really need to grab an amd 2100+ or something, a new motherboard, and new ram, then I will be happily using all of my vid card...

score seems fine, even a bit on the side. good job

Hmmm, my reply wasn't posted. I keep fair detail on o/c's, here's this one:
Overclock: Manual (260 MHz = 3.14 GHz)
Performance Mode: Standard
Memory Freq: 320MHz
Memory Accel: Enabled
DRAM Idle Timer & Refresh Rate: Auto
Mem 2-3-3-6-4
VDIMM: 2.75
Graphic Aperture: 128MB
Rage3D 371/335
I just tried it with the 3.5 catalyst and got 18130, which seems pretty much the exact same score. I don't like the 3.5 very much right now, it's giving me some weirdness in my other benchies. Mainly a drop in HD performance, but PCMark2k2 and the 9700Pro seem to not like eachother much.

EDIT: I ran 7800 (a 10X increase) when I first installed my 9700Pro on my old rig (P3-850 no o/c), but that was with some anomalies in video. 3dMark tests are highly dependent on video throughput,

18101 was my highest with my 9700 at 380/315 and my 1700+ at 2.5Ghz, I think I can another 100 points out of it, cause I just pushed my chip a little further, but I'm pleased enough.

I got 8,328 3dmarks on my AIW 8500DV, slightly oc'd. Rig is in the sig (P4 @ 2.1GHz and 256MB PC2100 DDR oc'd to PC2700 speeds).

Abit IC7, P4c 2.4, Radeon 9700 non-pro, Catalyst 3.4, and DX9... I get 14,200. Stock speeds on everything. That sound about right?

My wife's rig:

Radeon 9700 Gold
1gb PC2700
T-bred @ 1.47ghz
ECS k7s5a (SiS735) motherboard

3dmark2001: 10,300

I'd like opinions on that score...

I posted my results earlier in this thread and was pretty unhappy with them. I get my new video card soon and I am hoping for a double in score from a Radeon 9000 NP to Radeon 9800 Pro. I think reaching 15k+ is reasonable, at least I hope.
