I love how the uptights compare nudity to porn or sex with first cousins. Good luck, and make sure your repressed feelings don't make an outward lunge at an unsuspecting school girl or boy.

Dude, I am not uptight, believe me. BUT, as a father of 4, nudity does not need to be on the television, at the malls, in the neighbors front yard. We are supposed to be civilized with a certain amount of modesty.

So you'd rather have somone bludgeon someone to death at 8pm on CBS than see a nipple. Glad you're priorities are so in line. It's a nipple, we all have them, get over yourself.

Somewhere, on a European forum, someone is wondering why nudity is so accepted because they are tired of seeing fat, ugly men walking around naked. Grass is greener syndrome. Our society does not frown on nudity, but we know its place. We allow smut magazines, PG-13 movies with nudity, strip clubs, etc. We don't allow it on our TVs for the same reason we don't allow gore, the f-word, etc.

In america, there are many many hott females that we would love to see walking around in the buff. However, due to the obesity epodemic, there are too many FAT CHICKS that think it's ok to walk around with butt floss visible in their low-rise jeans... If they were allowed to walk around nude, you know they would. We simply can't take that chance. The state taxes the government collects that is distributed barely is enough to keep the potholes filled and deal with normal road issues. If they allowed nudity, their budgets would be overrun with cleanup costs from all the vomit in the streets.

That is all.

haha. good point

Would you like to eat across from the fat jolly dude nude at a public park or eatery?

I feel a lot of opinions would change after you have kids or caught some other guy jerking it to your girls breasts underneath a newpaper on the city bus.

humm after living in Germany for 4 years and been to many public parks where full nudity is common i have never seen what you just tried to describe.

also while in Holland and going to the beach where there are people from toddlers to 80+ walking around fully naked i have never seen what you just tried to describe.

for eating across from a jolly fat dude while in a public park? yea we have seen that but you know what? big fricken deal.

so tell me is seeing a naked body scary to you?

Public nudity wouldn't be a bad thing, but we NEED some mandatory exercise and diet laws in the US first. I don't want to be looking at some 350 pound cow of a woman when I'm trying to eat.

The U.S. definitely doesn't frown upon body mutilation. Just look at how many boys are circumsized.

Wow, way to troll.

LOL. The truth isn't trolling. Go away, n00b.

What does being circumsized have to do with nudity in America? And it is hardly
mutiliation. I see your point, but we don't need to turn this into a circumsicion thread.

Um, don't some cultures wed off their children to older people? I would be very surprised if men who were forced to marry little girls because of tribal custom didn't take advantage of the situation.

Pedophilia is the sex with children that have not developed at all. No hair, no period, etc. Generally for kids under 10-12. Got period = not a pedophile. So, unless you have some specific examples, I can't really answer your question. In most cultures of this nature, the girls is considered a woman at first period and can be married off.

I read where some religious sect in India married away a 3 year old daughter to some guy. I think it was part of some judgement against the other family.

trust me man. people in india are a lot more uptight about this stuff than here. couple years ago a movie came out which dealt with the love affair amongst two women. and the public outrage against it was much much worse than what we saw with brokeback here. there were people (mostly women) tearing town the movie posters from walls in the streets. there were mass protests outside movie theaters, etc.

does stuff like what you mentioned exist? id be lieing if i said no, but in this day and age, that kinda stuff is very rare and only exists in remote villages. does pedophilia exist in US? is it the norm? no. same goes with marrying off liitle girls in india

Maybe he's running to goto his room and jerk it.

But seriously, I did the same thing. I wouldn't want to be around my parents with anything that would influence a discussion about sex because I didn't want them to start pestering me about it asking me about my private decisions. It would be easier to avoid it.

If god had meant for us to be without kneecaps we would've been born that way.
If god had meant for us to be hairless down there we would've been born that way.
If god had meant for us to lack communication skills we would've been born that way.
If god had meant for us to have a poor immune system we would've been born that way.

It doesn't have anything to do with nudity. Just a passing comment to a portion of your post that was incorrect that could have been ignored. If you think circumcision is not mutilation then you are unclear on the meaning of at least one of the words.

Public nudity can't be allowed in America for the same reason that you think circumcision isn't mutilation: A one-sided story has been pushed for so long that as soon as you try and talk for the other side people are up in arms.

I don't think I mentioned being scared. Maybe I missed it.

I was just bringing up a couple of points I might have issues with. Having been raised here in the U.S. in a rural setting, I don't believe I am as comfortable with nudity as some in the European countries.

Does circumcision affect anyone other than the circumsized in any way? NO
Does public nudity affect others than the ones nude? YES

I think you hit the nail on the head, he definately shows interest towards girls but seems very embarrased when the wife or I are around. I also think he feels guilty when he sees nudity🙁

there is a difference between nudity and nakedness.

really... and it is?

The naked human figure, man or woman, has been a popular theme with both artists and the public throughout art history. Nakedness is associated with sexuality, which in turn is an important social and cultural phenomenon. Sexuality has a biological foundation, too. Nakedness tells us about the relationship between a man and a woman; it also tells us about being looked at, about a man or woman gazing, about the power of a person?s gaze, and about the artist?s work itself.

that is taken from.

Nude to me is more of a study of the human body. It is less about the feelings that the image provokes due to sexual/social meanings, but the beauty of light/form/shape that human body can create.
