you are confusing self esteem vs. shallow vs. classy you are comparing apples and oranges here. someone who goes around saying I look hot is narcissistic and shallow. Nothing to do with self esteem.

actually you are wrong... a lot of times girls will say that in hopes that someone else will agree and say the same thing... thus, needing constant building up of self esteem. It is a defense mechanism. Just like the girl who puts everyone down to make herself feel better.

I can't decide, that's a tough one...

My girly has a low self esteem, but she's wonderful (and hot), and tries not to let it get her too down.

I'd imagine that either one would be a little frustrating, but if she's an awesome girl otherwise, it's probably not that big of a problem.

It depends on how bad either one is, but IMHO, cocky is generally easier to deal with. Nothing like a backhanded compliment to put a cocky b1tch in her place. Low self-esteem girls are just too much of a burden.
