i agree with you whole-heartedly thraashman. if everyone would just be a little nicer and put a couple of these 🙂 🙂 🙂 then it would make things a just a little rosier. ive been seeing alot of harsh words around here lately.

hey... don't think it's a status thing, I'm a diamond, and well i'm ignored by every one, I'll give some one something if they read this, and pm me which movie this quote comes from
"No more rhyming, and I mean it!
Any body want a peanut?"

if any one pm's me, I'll be terribly surprised.

Ahh, just ignore them. When I first joined, I was called a possible troll, because my email and profile were not turned on. They scared the heck out of me! But I think some people do over react when somebody posts a topic that has been posted before. Or when somebody posts a joke, and you don't find it funny, don't post there and be rude. Just move on and leave them alone. Manners should be used on the internet, and you should never say to anyone here what you would not say to their face. 😉

People who whine about the hierarchical nature of forums demonstrate just how new they are to the 'net. You think it's bad here? Spend some time in some of the more active newsgroups.

It is part and parcel to participation. Deal with it.

BTW, thraashman, it's "holier", not "holyer".

What I'm getting somewhat fed up with are pointless posts containing less than ten words that usually have nothing to do with the topic.. Hopefully some of you will know what I'm talking about. I've noticed the attitude problem as well, though.. I usually forget about it, though, since nothing ever seems to be done about it.

One time I had a cracker. It tasted good, so I had another cracker. Then I had a cracker with cheese.

And that was the enndd of that story.
😛

This has been posted before.

Adul's got a little bit on the history of Nef (and will soon have the original thread that coined the term) here.

The thread where Endymion coined the word (hmmm... well he didn't really coin the word, but the new meaning of the word) is here.

And I never take anything presonally from someone I don't know personally.
