watching show on 42" HDTV > watching show on 21" Dell monitor.

Agreed, but plenty of people hook their lappy's/HT boxes to their big screens and pipe Hulu, etc. on through, not to mention streaming.

I can't really watch this show, even though I like Ramsay quite a bit. Kitchen Nightmares is just so much more interesting to me, particularly the British version. I can watch that show on a loop.

I'd like for the show to go back to Ramsey's roots ... it's very much foxified (edited to shit).

You can tell, that some of the food GR takes/eats, is shit, but he decides to make it a tie, so that they can go to commercial, and wait for the last two to show their dish....last night was the worst, with the 3 cooks that had michallen stars. The second guy obviously hated them both, but looked obligated to make it a tie.

I do like his UK shows better but I still enjoy Hell's Kitchen. I still agree with most of what has been said though. The editing is terrible.

However I do not agree with the comment on waffle house cooks...a lot of those guys are damn good line cooks...dunno if you could call them "chefs"... but I'm sure some of them are fine chefs as well outside of waffle house.

I still enjoy the show immensely. I'm not sure why, but after 7 seasons of him yelling at people about Risotto it never gets old. You'd think that those that signed up for the show would be cooking Risotto non-stop for several months, every night, for dinner in order to get their Risotto skills up. Oh and Beef Wellingtons as well. The show inspires me to work harder at learning to cook for some reason.

Have you ever heard someone watching it in another room? It's all like *Bleep* the damn *Bleep*. *Bleep Bleep Bleep*......No, I told you to *Bleeping* redo it! Oh COME ON! *SMASH*

It's a win just for the audio. :p

I'd imagine it's a combination of stress + wanting an excuse to get out of the piping hot kitchen for a few minutes every couple hours.

Yeah, I worked in that business for a couple of years and it gave you an excuse to run out of the kitchen with the others. The cute waitresses are usually out there too :).
