Kind of reminds me of Species.
this movie is actually supposed to be pretty good, but i'm sure most won't like it.
reason being- the ads. they're trying to sell it as a horror movie, which, from what i've read, it clearly is not.
I always love how these types of experiments end with some super intelligent killing machine. Like our first attempts are doing something like this wouldnt end with some stupid hybrid who can barely wipe its own ass.
how much tv are you watching that you could see this trailer 100 times?
It's the guy that did Cube and Cypher, so I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and try it out. Those movies were very far from perfect, but were decent sci-fi fun. Better cast here, so I have hopes for something good.

65 reviews at rotten tomatoes. 68%. Should be under 50% by the end of the weekend.

I've told you a million times, don't exagerate! It's called hyperbole, but still the amount of times I've seen it watching the nhl/nba playoffs is insane.

that's pretty good by me. 80-90% is probably a critically acclaimed pile of shit, the 0-40% is usually critically panned for good reason, and that leaves 50-70% as the good meaty 'probably watchable' range.
Apparently the state of Ohio is concerned about the movie: http://idle.slashdot.org/story/10/0...s-Bill-Banning-Human-Animal-Hybrids?art_pos=3
