maybe not my favourite(never thought of it) but a 1968 GT500 Shelby Mustang would be nice to drive around in :p

from cobra page:

<< No car in production since then can compete with a 427 Cobra. >>

The Mclaren F1 can.

The shelby gt500 is a sweet car too.

Bobby: the prelude, though a nice car, is not a classic. It also can't compete with any of the other cars listed here.

Ferrari F40. One of my favorite cars of all time. Who says it isn't classic? They don't make it anymore and it's a collector's item now! ;)

OK. I'll bite. Silver-blue 1968 Jaguar E-type roadster (sitting in my garage). Its not the fastest, but the best looking car ever made IMO.

hammer01 knows where it's at :)

The '71 Mach I rocks. The 1967 Shelby GT-500 is great, but its one of those "unobtainable" cars like the McLaren F1 (which is fugly by the way). If I had to pick one car, it'd be the Mach I. I have a Supra now, but if I ever become rich, I'm getting a Mach I + Viper GTS :D

Still kinda like Old Goats, but if I were buying one now, I might go with a Buick GS and keep it all original as possible.

Honestly though, I want to build a luxury car that moves. Kinda like the Bentley Turbo. Believe it or not, the engine and drive train on that thing isn't really that exotic. I bet I could duplicate it (close enough) in a Cadillac Fleetwood for not too much money or effort. Air conditioned, automatic and FAST! Don't give two sh!ts about the damn independent rear suspension! :p
