69 Chevelle SS 396
55 Chevy with a 454
Ferrari 308 GTO (Magnum P.I.) (though he drove a GTI...yuk)

I'll go with the Stingray split-window.

<<One I'd like to drive: 1969 Pontiac Firebird Ram Air V >>

Me too, unfortunately, there is no such thing.

<<<< No car in production since then can compete with a 427 Cobra. >>

I believe there are several cars that have equalled or eclipsed the Cobra's performance. I do remember the ZR 1 Vette beating the 0-100-0 time.

I remember watching the history channel show. I think it was Bugatti Royale. The most expensive classic car. Looked like a nice set of wheels.

honda prelude

Ba ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I think it will be a cold day in heck before this is considered a classic. The only car from Japan that one could consider to be a classic would be the 240 Z. The Supra and newer Zzz are future classics.

I'll take a Ferrari Daytona please.

After the remake of Gone in Sixty Seconds, every guy and girl has gone ga ga over the GT500. It's the only classic car most people know of. I'm sorry...but NO GT500 will ever look as good as the fabricated GT500s in Gone in Sixty Seconds. The most beautiful mustang, would have to be the Shelby Mustang GT350. It wasn't bloated like the GT500, looked great and was reasonably fast. the GT500 was just pure displacement. There's my mini rant.

Want speed? Take a look at the 1969 Camaro ZL1. Rare. VERY rare. Very ugly too. I'll either take a '68 RAM AIR Firebird convertible or a 1957 Ferrari TR 250. For coupes...umm...I dunno:)

1. '66 427 Shelby Cobra
2. '57 Ferrari 250 GT California-"It's so choice, if you have the means I highly recommend picking one up."
3. '87 Buick GNX
4. '67 Camaro

Hemi cuda's are sweet. So are chargers. I'm afraid I'd have to pick the Charger Daytona or Super Bird though :)

how 'bout a Tiger

Dude VERY nice choice, those were some sweet cars. Shows there is someone here who knows of some other true classics that are not just mainstream. A very nice Ford powered car.

There are some very nice cars listed here, Also I saw a McLaren listed on this forum about being production, if you fall for that
Hoax the you are no car person. When a care has an Assembly line of 3 and it's all hand built it's not production okay. They basically took 3 cars and put them in a line and wanted to say that to take a title they do not deserve. the 427 Cobra is a classic and built on a LINE! that's production.

I'm gonna have to go with Ford's 1966 Mustang Fastback ... one of the best looking mustangs, I'd say ... and it's not so outrageous like the Grandes, Shelby's and Bosses out there.

I'd have to say the '66 Shelby GT 350H....since there is one sitting in my garage....which has been my dream car since I was a little boy, but then again my red '57 T-Bird is pretty kick ass too, albeit fairly slow.

Now we're talking, Old cars! The BEST cars! :) Prefer an old car to a new car any day of the week...
I'd have to choose a 1971 Falcon XY GTHO Phase III. These cars kicked some serious arse!! Another close one would be an XB GT Coupe (kinda like the one in Mad Max)...

/me drools in anticipation....

<< how 'bout a Tiger >>

AAAAAAH. WRETCH. I don't know anything about them, but they're ugly as sin. The morning after my honeymoon, the hotel we stayed in was the host of some national tiger rally. There were THOUSANDS of them driving all over the lot. The roads were clogged with them. I was gagging. For little classic cars, I gotta go with the Triumph TR6. Now THAT is what a tiger WANTS to be.
Been up on two wheels in one that looked like this.
